A luxury Moana home has not one but THREE alfrescos
Would you care for the beach view or the pool view with your dinner?
A luxury five-bedroom home on the market in Moana offers just this choice.
To the front of the modern-style home at 37B Fourth Ave is an entertainers’ balcony with a servery window/bar connecting to the kitchen. It also offers plenty of space for both dining and lounge settings.
A true indoor/outdoor room, the balcony includes a tiled floor and downlights, and has views over the Esplanade, which is just a couple of houses away.
Then again, if you’re after a setting that’s perhaps a bit more private, you can head out the back to a huge pitched pergola overlooking a modern, tiled, bright-blue swimming pool with a water feature.
Again, there is plenty of room for an alfresco entertaining and dining out here.
There’s also a third undercover area to the rear of the block, with a spa and an alfresco barbecue with built-in bar space.
The low-maintenance pool setting, meanwhile, is surrounded by established, landscaped yard space, with lush grass and tropical-feel plants.

ALP reforms would hurt: first home buyers
Here’s a quirky dug out home you’ll really dig
Selling agent Zoe Ball, of Magain Real Estate, says the property has been an immediate hit with buyers, with a lot of interest coming from downsizers looking for low-maintenance living, with space to host family and grandchildren.
Inquiries have also come from people who live locally and are keen to upgrade, she says.
Others have been attracted by its 7.3m by 2.5m shed.
“You’ve got the beach and the lifesaving club and the cafe down the road,” Ms Ball says.
“It’s affordable for a coastal location and it’s still only five minutes to the Expressway and 30 minutes to town.
The property has been among SA’s most viewed properties on realestate.com.au, which has come as no surprise to Ms Ball.
“We had 20 through the first open — normally you’d expect about a dozen,” said says.
“Everyone that’s come through has said they can’t really fault it.
“The decor is really tasteful and it’s got that feel that you’re on holidays all year round.”
Ms Ball says Adelaide’s southern coastline is an especially popular market right now.
“We’re seeing the market stabilise (broadly), but anything on the coast from Seacliff to Silver Sands warrants a lot of inquiries and good numbers at opens.”
The floorplan for the Moana home is set over two levels. Downstairs you will find three bedrooms, the main bathroom and laundry and a large living area with a bar, which opens out to the rear alfresco.
Head upstairs and you will find an open-plan kitchen/family/meals zone that extends to the balcony.
Also upstairs is a study with built-in desk space and the large main bedroom with a luxurious ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.
The home has an asking price of $939,000 to $979,000.
