Cassandra Thorburn sells Cremorne home for over $9m three years after Karl Stefanovic divorce
Cassandra Thorburn has severed another link to ex-husband Karl Stefanovic after selling the waterfront mansion she purchased with the former Today host months before they separated.
Thorburn confirmed on Instagram that she was starting a “new chapter” after parting ways with the lavish Cremorne property, which had been one of her last remaining ties to her 21-year marriage with Stefanovic.

SOLD! Thank you Piers! A new chapter awaits.
It was listed three weeks ago and sold for a price understood to be above $9 million.
The couple had purchased the property in an up-market pocket of Cremorne for $8 million in 2016.
They had intended the property to be their forever home and enlisted a builder to transform the existing home into a lavish mansion with a steam room and wine cellar, but their marriage ended soon after.
It is believed Thorburn and the couple’s three kids moved into the property in 2017, by which time Stefanovic was in a nearby home with his second-wife-to-be Jasmine Yarbrough.
Thorburn and Stefanovic had also sold their Federation family home in Lindfield for $3.8 million.
The three-level Cremorne home includes an indoor swimming pool, four bathrooms and planning approval for a jetty.
The 650sqm property also has water views and was originally slated to hit the market in spring with only “qualified buyers” eligible to view it.
