Cherrybrook home attracts 12 registered bidders, sells at auction for $1.82m
It was supposed to be a five-week campaign but huge buyer interest led to an earlier than planned auction for 25 Tallowwood Ave, Cherrybrook.
The five-bedroom house sold for $1.82 million three weeks after its market launch, with two of 12 registered buyers keen to make the winning bid.

Merrylands mansion sells for impressive price
Greg Nicolson from Louis Carr Real Estate West Pennant Hills/Cherrybrook said he would have been happy with four to five serious buyers — a dozen was a bonus.
However, it was two young families who pushed the sale price well above an undisclosed reserve.
About 120 groups inspected the property that has a pool and heated spa.
“We’ve definitely seen a surge of interest in the market in the last few months,” Mr Nicolson said.
“Buyer confidence is improving and there’s a lot more urgency as buyers see the market moving upwards.”
He said a desirable position in a quiet street close to village shops and the local school played a big role in the property’s popularity.
