The leafy location is regarded by some to be one of the city’s most beautiful streets and is walking distance to the CBD, train station and bay.
Whitford, Newtown agent Heidi Trempel said the neighbourhood was a magnet for downsizers.
“The buyers loved the tree-lined streetscape and the location to the CBD,” Ms Trempel said.
“This little pocket is particularly popular with downsizers.
“The house was perfect for them being single level, low maintenance and renovated.”
The floorplan is designed around a central outdoor entertainment area, accessed via french doors off the kitchen/living area.
There’s a formal sitting room, three bedrooms, including a main bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite, and a single garage.
A small separate studio in the backyard could be turned into a children’s playrooms or man cave.
