Emma Stone lists Beverly Hills cottage for almost $US4 million
Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone is ready to part with her Beverly Hills cottage of almost seven years, having listed the wood-panelled home for $US3.89 million last week.
Stone, 30, purchased the home for $US2.5 million through a trust in May 2012, property records show.
Long before her tenure at the property it was owned by the late English actor and comedian Dudley Moore, best known for starring in the Arthur movies. His trust sold the home in 2001, property records show.
Built in 1953, the home spans almost 360sqm and has recently “been overhauled into a warm and inviting entertainer’s dream home,” according to the listing with Compass agent Stacy White.
A representative for Compass declined to comment on the listing. Set behind gates for added privacy, the four-bedroom house also has a chef’s kitchen, a master bedroom with a fireplace and two walk-in closets, and a great room with a fireplace and French doors leading to a stone back patio.
There’s also an upgraded heated pool surrounded by a lawn and colourful flower beds, the listing said.
Ms. Stone most recently starred in, and was Oscar-nominated for, The Favourite. A representative for her could not be reached for comment.
