First pictures have emerged inside the historic Point Piper Edwardian mansion ‘Capri’, being sold by nursing-home scion Mark Moran and his wife, Evette, with an $18m price guide.

Sydney Sotheby’s International Realty’s Michael Pallier has the prestigious listing of the landmark five-bedroom, five-bathroom home at 4 Wyuna Rd.

The Morans, co-founders of the aged-care outfit Mark Moran Group. have already moved to North Bondi, close by the unfinished amalgamation of three top-floor apartments at 97 Ramsgate Ave that they purchased from retail chief Mark McInnes for $11.5 million last September.

David Fuchs, chief investment officer for the Lowy family’s private investment firm LFG, has sold his Balfour Rd, Bellevue Hill home ahead of its scheduled April 4 auction.

Sydney Sotheby’s International Realty’s Michael Pallier had been quoting a $7.5m price guide and it’s believed it sold for significantly more than that in just 12 days.

There continues to be strong demand for large family homes such as this on large level blocks among eastern suburbs families.

Pilot swoops in to secure home with airstrip

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home with double garage on 778 sqm appears in property records as being owned by his wife, Ariane.

The couple look to be moving to the now rebuilt home in Tarrant Ave that property records show they purchased, again in Mrs Fuchs’s name, in July 2015 just after they moved back to Australia after a stint in New York.

The two-bed, two-bath unit with double garage at 1601/3 Kings Cross Rd goes to auction on April 9 via Paul Biller of Biller.

The pair gutted the apartment in 2017 and rebuilt it with interior designer Heath Baldwin. The plan is to move to Byron Bay.

The most viewed property on realestate.com.au in the city and east was a two-bed house at 32 Zamia St, Redfern, probably due to its $800,000 guide.

It goes to auction through BresicWhitney’s Charles Touma on April 6.

Mr Touma has had a string of sales recently including a four-bedroom concrete, steel, and recycled timber home at 5a Wells St, Redfern. It sold for $2.8m.

The house is next door to the home of the man who developed the three identical terraces, Steve Fadel of Paramount Property Group.

Showing how much the market has shifted, Mr Fadel’s other neighbour, 2GB’s Ben Fordham, sold for $3.2m at the peak of the boom.
