Get back to nature in style at 7 Sandercock Rd, Crafers
A Crafers home has been completely transformed and offers a flexible lifestyle in an idyllic private location, just minutes from everything you need. Stephen Yarnold and Louise Bagger bought the home in 2010, attracted by the prospect of turning a workshop into additional accommodation for a family member, and have extensively renovated both homes.

The Golden Grove house ‘everyone’ wanted
“The property was very dark and dingy when we bought it – it had brown interior walls and the exterior was red brick, so we’ve put a fair bit of work into it,” he says.” We’ve really opened it up by knocking down some walls, and the block was a bush block so we’ve landscaped it.”
The property holds two dwellings – the four-bedroom, two-bathroom main home with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area and a separate sitting room; and an open-plan cottage with two bedrooms.
“The cottage itself is totally isolated and fenced off and gated, so whoever is in there can entertain on their patio and those in the main house can entertain on their patio,” Mr Yarnold says. “The scenery here is quite special and we have all those Hills perks of koalas, possums and birds.”
“We have the Crafers Hotel just down the road and we’re a five-minute drive from Stirling. People think we’re isolated here but it only takes me 20 minutes on a good day to get to Keswick where I work.”
Mr Yarnold says the property would suit a range of buyers from blended families to a couple looking to use the cottage as an investment or holiday rental.
