194 Pacific Pde, Bilinga, has sold to a couple from Brisbane for almost $4 million.

A trophy home on Bilinga’s beachfront has changed hands in an almost $4 million deal.

The lavish listing was built in 2012 with unique features to make the most of its prime southern coastline position.

A couple, who split their time between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, secured the keys and plan to relocate permanently.

The pair splashed $3.8 million on the property at 194 Pacific Pde late last month, with it set to settle at the end of May.

The five-bedroom house sold late last month.

Ray White Mermaid Beach agent Troy Dowker said the buyers were attracted to the size and location of the five-bedroom house.

“They work predominantly in Brisbane and are looking to relocate to the Gold Coast on a permanent basis,” he said.

“They love the lifestyle benefits and appeal of the area — they just love the quiet beachfront strip.”

It sits on a popular beachfront strip.

The house was built in 2012.

Mr Dowker said highlights of the property included a huge void in the main living area, a state-of-the-art cinema, eight-car garage at street level, impressive views and an entertainment precinct on the top level.

The fourth-floor, self-contained leisure area features a rooftop terrace, outdoor spa, kitchen, sauna, bathroom and gym.

Ocean views are part of the package.

The house first hit the market in March last year under an auction campaign before being listed with a $4.388 million price tag, which was then dropped to $3.989 million.

It was listed through two agencies.

The sellers, one a doctor, plan to stay local as they “love the southern Gold Coast.”

A block of units at 124 Pacific Pde, Bilinga, recently fetched almost $2 million.

Mr Dowker said there was high demand along Pacific Pde.

He also recently sold a block of units along the strip at No. 124 for $1.95 million. The buyers plan to use the property as a new home site.

“The beachfront landscape is evolving quite quickly,” he said.
