Greenspace a drawcard at Villawood Properties’ development
With only one block left in buyer Emily Sealey’s budget, she jumped at the opportunity and secured her spot at Sequana at Logan Reserve.
Ms Sealey has built a four bedroom, two bathroom home on a 375sq m block at Villawood Properties’ $55 million riverside community.
The home features a large open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, two-car garage and a fully fenced yard.
“While it’s a little further afield than where I had been looking, Sequana offered incredible value for money in a high-quality community,” Ms Sealey said. “I love everything about the estate, down to the upgraded light posts, the position on the river and the parklands that are going to be delivered.
“There’s easy access to the shops, public transport and medical facilities, and it’s still only 15 minutes to Browns Plains and the Logan Hyperdome.”
Ms Sealy said she was looking forward to bringing up her six-year-old son in a friendly neighbourhood, with room for her two dogs to run.
“It’s already shaping up to be a lovely community. I have great neighbours and everyone keeps an eye out for each other,” she said.
“There will be so many kids in the adjacent streets with lots of young families moving in. There is so much green, open space with two dog parks, and further plans for new playgrounds and recreational facilities.”
More than a third of the community will be dedicated to green open space, nature reserves for the rainbow bee-eater, walkways, river access, two dog parks, a state of-the-art playground and kick about areas with barbecue and covered seating areas.
Villawood Properties state development manager Michael Williams said it was a hive of activity, with 30 residents settled into their homes and 20 homes nearing completion.
“The range of lot sizes reflects the diverse needs and lifestyle choices of today’s families and we are looking forward to cultivating a thriving neighbourhood within this boutique masterplan,” he said.
