Killara home of retired recruitment boss set to sell at auction

Retired recruitment boss Geoff Moles and wife Janice will see their Killara home go to auction this weekend.

The couple have owned the 1885sqm Springdale Rd property for 28 years, after paying $1.225 million in 1991.

It will go to auction on Saturday at 3.15pm, with a $6.8 million price guide.

Many character features have been retained.

According to CoreLogic, 29 Springdale Rd is one of 92 properties set to go under the hammer on the north shore, in what is the last auction weekend before the school holidays and the Easter break.

The c1910 home has many character features, including coffered ceilings, recessed doors and decorative cornices.

The house also has a tennis court, swimming pool, manicured lawns and a number of formal and informal spaces.

The property has a large swimming pool.

There is even room for a pool table and gym.

Mr Moles, a founder of the Clarius Group, retired from its board in 2014 after 30 years.

It is on the market with McConnell Bourn’s managing director Matthew Bourn and agent Scott Farquhar.
