Maroubra home sells prior to auction for above $5.25m price guide
A five-bedroom luxury residence in Maroubra has sold prior to auction in excess of the $5.25 million price guide.
The property at 3 Undine St was originally scheduled to go to auction on Saturday August 31.
Selling agents Alexander Phillips and David Tyrrell of Phillips Pantzer Donnelley entered negotiations with four buyers, three of whom were local to the suburb and one from Bronte.

According to Mr Phillips, the successful buyer was a local family with three children.
“They had been looking to maybe buy something to renovate,” Mr Phillips said.
“But they decided this was a better opportunity to avoid having to deal with council and builders for a couple of years.”
Mr Phillips said it was much better received than expected, with 125 groups viewing the home during the campaign, and eight contracts issued prior to the sale.
Buyers were attracted to the home’s superior build, the quality of the street, the multi level layout and the views.
The elevated north facing position of the house showcases expansive ocean views, while the family friendly backyard has a level lawn and a heated in-ground swimming pool.
