New $700m apartment tower to offer city views and resort-style features

The St Leonards skyline is set to climb with an ambitious new project worth a staggering $700 million.

A joint venture by New Hope Group and VIMG, The Landmark development is set to make waves in the market as it rises 138m and offers a mix of modern homes across 43 striking storeys.

Construction is underway on the prime site, at 500 Pacific Highway, and completion is slated for late 2021.

Colliers has been appointed to sell the luxury apartments, with the stage two portion due to be released to the public this month.

With apartments starting from level four up to 43, the views are set to be spectacular.

Blake Schulze, director of residential project marketing, said The Landmark was an exciting project due to take shape in “one of the city’s strongest markets going forward”.

“St Leonards has the opportunity to grow and this will set a new benchmark for the lower north shore,” Mr Schulze said.

The homes will have lavish features throughout.

“This is one of the last chances to get a spot high on a hill — this site is on a vantage point with 360 views; you can see Sydney Harbour, the city skyline, the Anzac Bridge and beyond, which is phenomenal,” he said.

With a look inspired by waves and varied angles, the tower will have an eye-catching design.

Not only will it house 429 apartments, including eight penthouses spanning 128 sqm to 262 sqm, it will also offer top communal features.

The luxe lobby will give residents and guests a taste of what is to come.

“We need to have a look at the way people live these days and if we are to appeal to the downsizer or a family, we need spaces they may have once had in a house such as break out places to play or relax.

“The developers have pushed the level of amenity further with a pool, gym, sauna, two cinema rooms — one for the kids — a golf simulator and even a yoga room.”

The building will also have a library, dining room and lounge areas for residents to enjoy with friends and family.

A pool, sauna and spa will be built in the tower.

Studios are priced from $600,000 while one bedroom apartments starts at $720,000 and two-bedders cost upwards of $1.125 million.
