THE stunning street appeal of this stately 1800s home helped push it to the top of the “most-viewed houses” chart.

Petrusma Property Lindisfarne sales manager and senior property consultant David McLeod described this five-bedroom Eastern Shore house as having “stunning street appeal”.

He said this “Queen of Lindisfarne” was a very grand period home, fully renovated but beautifully in keeping with its classic Victorian architecture.

Abundant charm.

Total gorgeous.

“To be able to buy a home such as this is a rare opportunity,” David said.

“Among its best features I would highlight the renovations, which were completed with an expert eye for detail and are so sympathetic to the original home.

“From the large rooms to the marble fireplaces, the wallpaper or the gorgeous Baltic pine floorboards, this property has got it all.

“There is modern ducted heating, a high-end kitchen and bathrooms, too.

“Obviously the large, level block that is close to Lindisfarne Village is a huge positive as well.”

He said that since it hit the market, No.9 Koluri Court had grabbed the interest of interstate and local buyers.

“We have also had interest from the North of the state,” David said.

“It’s hard to say who the buyer might be at this stage.

“Sometimes it is the local buyer who understands the premium location and appreciates the rare opportunity that this is.”

Got time for a bite?

Tickle the ivories.

No.9 Koluri Court is known as Salamis and was the original house on this street.

It dates back to 1886.

David said that for the current owners, this family home would always hold a special place in their hearts.

“The home has been a big and very special part of the family’s life,’’ he said.

“They have raised their children here, but it is time for a new owner to move in and enjoy.”

The house is listed with Petrusma Property at “Offers over $1.275 million”.
