Prominent dentist Daniel Adamo lists $25 million Mosman home
The lower north shore record looks set for its first test of 2019 with prominent dentist Daniel Adamo and his wife, former recruitment boss Katie, listing their six year-old Mosman home.
On the market with a $23 million-$25 million guide, the couple have enlisted Ray White Lower North Shore’s Geoff Smith and Richard Harding to sell the home via expressions of interest.
The current lower north shore record stands at $25 million, following Sydney Swans chairman Andrew Pridham buying a home on Mosman’s Golden Mile in July 2018.

North shore gets its first $10 million sale for the year
Before this listing, the local prestige market has had a slow start to 2019 with only one home selling above $10 million and no listings above $16.5 million.
This is in stark contrast to the last year where 20 home were reported to have sold on the lower north shore for more than $10 million.
“Having a house like this now for sale, will bring new buyers to the market place,” Mr Smith said.
Records show that the couple paid $7.55 million in 2008 for the Ruby St home, before they knocked it down and built a new one.
Mr Smith said there was not another house like this one for sale at the moment.
“It is probably one of the best family homes I’ve ever seen. The couple have spared no expense in the quality of construction and its finishes,” he said.
Set on 1792sqm, the Susan Rothwell designed home has sweeping city and Harbour views from most of its indoor and outdoor areas.
With 930sqm of internal floor space over four levels, there is a Travertine staircase and an internal lift, plus five of the six bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom.
The main level of the trophy home has a 122sqm outdoor terrace with fireplace, and a formal living/dining room with chandeliers.
The casual living area is connected to the kitchen, which has a large butler’s pantry. The kitchen has Calacatta benchtops and timber veneer joinery, plus a Wolf oven, induction cooktop, steam oven, plate warmer and two dishwashers. This space is located beside the playroom that flows out to grassed area with cubby house.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a built-in TV and minibar, fireplace and a terrace. There is also a walk-in dressing room, and a bathroom with his and her sinks and a bathtub.
There is a self-contained guest bedroom with kitchenette and ensuite on the lower ground floor, along with a gym rumpus/ games room and a covered terrace.
The underground garage is accessed from New Lane, and has a turntable and parking for six cars.
Other features include a 10m wide infinity swimming pool and spa with gas heating and a poolside entertainment quarter. The home also has ducted airconditioning, underfloor heating, auto blinds and built-in speakers.
Mr Smith expects locals, Chinese families and expats returning to Australia to be the three main buyer groups.
The last big sale recorded in this part of Mosman was the Stenmark’s family home, where models Zac and Jordan grew up, selling for $10.25 million to former Foxtel boss Richard Freudenstein in June 2018.
Dr Adamo is a director of MiFund and co-founder of Mobile Dental Services, and Katie Adamo founded global property recruitment firm Judd Farris before she sold it in 2007.
