Aria Development boss Tim Forrester has accepted a $6m offer on his Palm Springs inspired home in Norman Park.

The living zone follows an open plan with bi-fold doors and big windows to let in views.

“Three families made offers, with a young executive family securing the home,” she told The Courier-Mail.

“They intend on living in the stunning, renovated property, enjoying all the Brisbane riverfront lifestyle has to offer.”

Tenders were to have closed at 4pm next Thursday April 4.

‘It’s evident that really high quality properties are sought-after in this riverfront marketplace.”

The property has a large lawn area as well as pool and overwater deck.

There is also a kitchenette downstairs which is handy for pool parties.

‘It’s a positive sign properties in the high-end marketing are selling before tender with multiple offers.’

The four bedroom mid-century style home has three bathrooms, a two-car garage and is on an 888sq m block of riverfront land.

The Forresters gave it California style flair with iconic palm trees and greenery, sunken levels, and kitted it out with top of the range appliances and finishes.

The ARIA group was set up by Mr Forrester and his sister Kirsty Mitchell, children of Rod and Jan Forrester — co-founders of ASX 200 firm FKP Property Group.

ARIA has been a major player behind the urban renewal of South Brisbane with hundreds of millions in residential and mixed use developments.

The Forresters kitted out the home in top of the range appliances and followed a soft California style for decor.
