Six-storey unit building on the rise in Sutherland
A quiet street in the Shire will soon house a boutique apartment project set to complement its setting.
Off-the-plan sales have just launched for Glencoe Residences, a six-storey building by Sydney-based developer SLD.

AMBITIOUS PLANS FOR $78 MILLION SITE
Worth $18.5 million, the project comprises a couple of one-bedroom apartments, 16 two-bedroom layouts and some three-bedroom options, including a penthouse.
Standout elements of the project are its communal area and location, according to the project’s sales manager Luke Barbuto.
“There is a fantastic rooftop terrace for residents; it has 360-degree views of Sutherland with sights of the city, the Royal National Park to the south and back towards Cronulla and Botany Bay,” Mr Barbuto, from Highland Property Group, said.
“There is a lot of development happening in Sutherland but this is in the northern part of the suburb which is less dense and considered the leafy, suburban side.”
The low-rise building packed with modern features will go up in Glencoe St, a family-friendly road which has central walkways.
It will be walking distance from shops, parks, cafes and the station.
Construction has started on the site, at 51-53 Glencoe St, with the basement currently being built. The project is due for completion in March next year.
Each buyer will get at least one parking space, as well as contemporary interiors by BKA Architecture.
These include timber look floor tiles, open-plan kitchens featuring Caesarstone benchtops and bathrooms with frameless shower screens and freestanding bath tubs.
Mr Barbuto said the outdoor areas had already been piquing the interest of buyers.
