Three Central Coast buyers battle for Wamberal acreage at auction.

A local has snapped up an incredible vacant land parcel in Wamberal for $1.6 million.

The acreage at 4 High Valley Cl was purchased at an auction that involved three local bidders.

Agent Jason Easton from Property Central Erina said the rare block was “one of the highest land sales around” and that the buyers all loved the position.

The pristine block is in prime position near Wamberal Beach.

“Two groups were competing quite hard at the end — there are not many blocks of land like this so close to the beach,” he said.

The cleared 1.2ha parcel has a perfect northerly aspect with the added bonus of town water and sewer plus possible further development opportunities, subject to council approval.

Close to schools and shops, the land is only 1km from the ocean at Wamberal beach.

Mr Easton said that he could not reveal the reserve because the sale was through Roads and Maritime.

The RMS have been slowly selling off land along The Entrance Rd, having previously purchased it for road widening.
