Tim Cahill New Jersey mansion: soccer star selling ultimate sports pad
Australian soccer legend Tim Cahill is sinking the boot into his New Jersey mansion.
The nation’s all-time leading scorer, with 50 goals in 108 caps, is selling a dream Saddle River home for $US6.75 million, or about $AUD9.7 million.
Cahill had the home built in 2015 after purchasing the property during his three-season stint with the New York Red Bulls.

The brilliant pad is Colonial in style with sports rooms devoted to futsal, basketball and a golf simulator.
Eight bedrooms and bathrooms can be found in the epic mansion, on a block Cahill purchased for $US2.7 million — or $AUD3.9 million — in 2013.
Hiding behind a gated entry of the property is an infinity pool alongside a cabana with a kitchen and bar.
Wondrous aspects of the interior include a kitchen with dual waterfall island benches, an elevator to move between the four floors, metallic polish plaster walls and an abundance of living zones.
A storeyed career has seen Cahill star in the Premier League, Chinese Super League and for Melbourne City in the A-League, where he won the club’s first silverware in the 2016 FFA Cup Final with a trademark header.
Cahill played for Melbourne City across two seasons, before a fairytale return to his first professional club, EPL team Millwall.
