Two blocks of land for sale in beaches’ hot spot
Two blocks of vacant land in a northern beaches hot spot are for sale at a budget-friendly price.
The elevated neighbouring blocks are 2537sqm and 2074sqm and are being offered together for a total of $697,000.
Agent Shelley Baker, of the newly opened Ray White Pasadena office in Church Point, said the land at 143-145 McCarrs Creek Rd, Church Point is in a prime position and depending on how a new home is built should reward the new owner with water views.
Church Point is 25km northeast of the Sydney CBD and is one of the few northern beaches suburbs to record real estate price growth over the last 12 months. While the rest of the northern beaches has notched up an average 4 per cent dip in its median suburb property value, Church Point property prices have actually grown nine per cent over 12 months, according to CoreLogic, to a new median price of $2,212,500.

A quick search on realestate.com.au shows there are only seven properties for sale in this prestige suburb close to water. There are two four-bedroom houses with price guides of $1.25 million and $1.595 million, a block of land with a guide of $1.85 million to $2 million and a prestige home going to auction on Saturday, April 27, with a guide of $3.3 million.
“It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot in the door at an affordable price,” Ms Baker said.
