Ultimate games room inside Balwyn party pad for sale
The ultimate games room with a light-up bar and storage for more than 1000 wine bottles has been dealt onto the Balwyn market.
The party pad at 18 King St, which is for sale a $3.75-$4.125 million price guide, was built by vendors Blair and Laura Gowans.
Mr Gowans said he wanted a sophisticated setting for poker nights.

Not your average French provincial-style home in Balwyn
“I got a customised poker table made while living at my old house in Richmond, and when we started to design our Balwyn house I created this room to centre around the table,” Mr Gowans said.
“The games room was where our property’s design started and the flow of the house kind of came from there.”
A full-sized bar with a marble benchtop and a massive wine room complete the impressive space. It’s also decked out in Collingwood and American football memorabilia.
The couple sketched their dream home on a napkin before Rycon Building Group created it about three years ago.
Other features of the single-level house include an expansive open-plan living area, gym, luxurious main bedroom with an ensuite and dressing room, kids’ wing and a pool and outdoor entertainment area that backs onto a park.
RT Edgar Hawthorn agent Annabelle Feng said the property was unique to the area.
“The house is in Balwyn where there are a lot of French provincial-style properties, but this is much more original,” Ms Feng said.
“It’s very rare to see a Hampton-style property being built.”
The dream home is for private sale.
